Michelle Gregory leads the [24]7.ai Data Science Group. She is an innovative and energetic leader with more than 20 years of experience, specializing in understanding customer needs and applying capabilities and scientific solutions that are used in products and solve real world problems. She has strong execution, technical, and team building experience.
Prior to [24]7.ai, she most recently running a team of 100 Data Scientists for Elsevier. Throughout her career, she has focused on the understanding and visualization of large amounts of data, including real-time social data. Research topics have included information extraction, online communication, sentiment and opinion analysis, natural language processing, machine learning, and high performance computing.
Michelle’s real passion lies in making big data solutions, machine learning, and artificial intelligence capabilities applicable and scalable for real world applications. She has more than 60 publications and eight patents in speech and NLP applications. She holds a PhD in computational linguistics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
