Guido Schroeder to focus on growing and developing teams, integrating technology assets, and building a world-class Agile engineering organization
Campbell, Calif. – Nov. 7, 2016 – 7.ai, a global leader in intent-driven customer engagement solutions, today announced the appointment of Guido Schroeder as Chief Product Officer. In this role, Schroeder will be responsible for leading all global engineering and product teams, focused on integrating 7.ai's substantial technology assets across its product portfolio. He will report directly to 7.ai Chief Executive Officer PV Kannan.
Schroeder brings considerable expertise to 7.ai. At Splunk he led the product and engineering teams through continued high growth, expanding the portfolio from a single product to a multi-product and solution approach and moved Splunk towards a SaaS offering. Prior to leading Splunk's product organization, he had a 16-year career with SAP, where he led the Business Objects BI unit, a 750+ person global organization with teams in India, China, Canada, France, Germany and Israel. The global leadership positions Schroeder has held give him a unique set of skills that will strengthen 7.ai's product and engineering organization, achieve even greater alignment with client-facing teams and help the company continue building a world-class Agile engineering organization.
